Loved the story and the turn around at the end. So just how long did they spend living lives in Mean Girls? and why didn't Steve notice I guess they went through it a third time?
Sorry for the confusion! This chapter is split into two parts. The last three caps take place in an 'alternate universe', where Steve landed in Cady's body instead of Gretchen's (that's why the third cap is so similar to the first). A little confusing, I know, but the next chapter should help to clear things up.
As for how long they spent in 'Mean Girls'... in the original universe it was one year total (two six-month trips in different bodies). And in the alternate universe it was just one six-month trip, followed by a short trip into 'Just My Luck'. Hope that makes sense :)
I see that now. Yeah, I might have missed it when I read it. Cause I went from caption to caption. I've really been enjoying these. I've always liked this concept.
